hi Lily I really liked all the pictures you used in this presentation, I found that some of the writing however was difficult to read. I have always had a love of Orcas and even did a project on them at school I found them to be very misunderstood creatures. My favorite picture was on slide six with the smaller whale jumping over the big whale I also found the topic of social behavior very interesting. Good work on the slide show!!

  2. Hi Lily,
I found your report very interesting and I enjoyed reading it. Many of the facts you included in the report were things that I didnt know, for example I didnt know Orca had any hair or fur. I found the layout, photos and graphics you used very effective in making the report interesting to look at and eye catching. Some of the letters were difficult to read with the black whale behind them, but I was still able to understand the paragraph.
I have seen orca just off the Greymouth bar. It was about 20 years ago and I was out helping on a fishing boat quite close to shore. A pod of orca were swimming north and came very close to the boat. They were beautiful, but also a little scary to see so close. I was surprised to see the males' fins are so tall!
    Great work Lily
